Comparison of the effect of a course of movement, traditional and educational games on movement skills and anxiety of children

Introduction: Because childhood is very important and movement skills grow faster in this period. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to compare the effect of a course of movement, educational, and traditional games on movement skills and anxiety of children.
Method: For this purpose, 40 children of six years were selected and randomly divided into four groups including movement games (n=10), traditional games (n=10) educational games (n=10), and control (n=10). Before and after an eight-week training period, Ulrich-3 large motor development test and anxiety questionnaire were measured.
Results: The result showed that the intervention (playing games) increased motor skills (P≤0.05; F=210/685) and Reduced anxiety (P≤0.05; F=24.875) of subjects had a significant effect.
Conclusion: According to the results of the research, it can be said that physical, educational, and traditional games can develop motor skills and reduce anxiety in preschool children due to their practice and content. Be a primary school.
