The intervention was conducted in groups of 5 people for 9 sessions of 90 minutes during 2 months in the intervention group. No intervention was performed in the control group. The data was analyzed using SPSS-24 software and descriptive and inferential statistics at a significance level of P<0.05. Results: According to the results of this study, the average age of mothers of children with diabetes Type 1 in the intervention group was 96.33 ± 58.4 and in the control group was 61.33 ± 22.6, and statistically no significant difference was observed between the two groups (P= 0/37). The average quality of life of mothers of children with diabetes before the intervention in the intervention group was 65.87±26.77 and in the control group was 70.32±17.02, and after the intervention it was 69.85±18.88 and 66.11±19.08, respectively. The results of the covariance test showed a significant difference between the intervention and control groups so 31% of the changes in the quality of life were related to the resilience training program (P<0.01). Conclusions: According to the results of the present study, after the intervention, the average quality of life score in mothers with children with type 1 diabetes increased, while in the control group, this score decreased. Therefore, the quality of life of mothers of children with type 1 diabetes can be improved with resilience training.
